Straws
Straws aren't the most convenient things... They're all show and not very useful at all. Of course some are okay (Mc Donalds' straws for example, not too flashy), but the twirly ones with about a metre of straw all wound up like nobody's business that give you a headache because you have to suck too hard to get a deccent taste of whatever you're drinking, which in turn reduces your drinking experience.

Love Letters
I've just recently attended my Grannie's funeral and during a sort through her belongings I came across a rather large collection of letters from my Granfather, dating back to 1946.
These letters contain passionate words, poetically crafted that show him as quite the romantic lover. As I read these letters I have tears in my eyes and I understand the potency of their love for each other and the devastation of which my Grannie would've felt after his early death.
"... I ache for you day and night, for that is the state to which you have broght me..."
What words.

Hello World.
Hello World.
This is my very first blog I've ever created and I asure you that what could've taken 30 minutes if I had broadband took a few tedious hours. Ah the price of living in the 'beautiful countryside'.
However, now that its all set up I'm sure it wont take me so long in the future.
I have always had a slight aversion to being called a bookworm(worms are slimy, blind, mud-dwellers) so I decided a book kitten was slightly cuter sounding and more attractive. Alas my Blog Title was born...
